    My mother has lived in the Opelika area for over 60 years but for some reason she is not good enough for this facility. They turned her admission down because they claim they could not meet her needs. You are a nursing facility are you not ?? How can a facility that excepts medicaid for payment deny a local citizen the right to have local long term care . The nurses that i know are great but the lady , and i used that loosely that handles admissions is a evil human being . She is rude and will not meet you in person to discuss anything .

    I visited a friend here today. The grounds were lovely and her apartment, a 2+2, was very nice. It overlooks a lake and there were some pretty outdoor sitting areas which were catching a marvelous cross breeze. We had dinner (mid-day) and the menu was pretty good, but I must say, the fried chicken was fabulous! I left feeling good about her new home.

    One of the best place of employment by far?! We have a wonderful Director, DON,ADON and a host of superstar supervisors.... We take pride in the care of our residents and families.. Making the residents happy and comfortable is #1 on our list. I am truly thankful for being apart of the EAMC/ Oak Park Nursing home and Assisted living... ???
