    DON'T GO HERE.YES THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. My mother went there after breaking a hip in July 2017. June of 2018 we received a finally bill. (REALLY almost a year later) We made payment arrangements with Grace Washington and started make payments. We received a threatening letter about sending it too collections as we were making the payments.I contacted the place by email and said we are paying off the bill (which we did) and will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.That was in December 31st of 2018. January 31st 2019 we received a bill for what we paid off in December. No wonder our heath care cost so much. This place has wasted a lot of paper and postage. They need to FIRE whoever does the bill. Because they are not doing the job. And again paying someone that is not doing the job. Cost of healthcare.......

    I do not like this place. the changes are horrible. we called over the weekend and the patients were answering the phone. no nurse around. the patient says "call back later and I'll find you a nurse" really??? patients running the place? unbelievable!

    This place is a nightmare. A few great people work here, but that can't make up for the majority that have no heart for the type of work they are doing. The people in charge are a joke. The facility is understaffed, and there is no communication between staff members which results in inconsistent patient care. The facility itself is old and desperately needs updating. DO NOT put your loved one here.

    Wow! This place is the worst ever! The new lady in charge really is a fowl mouth cussing at her employees! I think her name is Beverly. My Grandma is a Christian and said she wants to stay in her room from now on. This place is evil...don't bring your family here if you don't have to. May God have mercy on this place....

    My mother was a resident of Diversicare Foley for almost 7 weeks starting in December of 2017 until her death in January. She asked to go somewhere where she wouldn't have to get out of bed. The Diversicare staff tried for a few weeks to get her to leave her room/bed for meals, bath, or activities but finally gave up. I have very few complaints about the care she received. No facilities have enough staff to take care of every resident in a timely fashion; you couldn't afford a facility like that. She had a ongoing foot wound that healed completely while she was bed, which was definitely due to the expertise of their wound care nurse. They wasted a lot of food trying to get her to eat, but they don't really customize meals to each resident. The food wasn't as healthy as what we provided at home, but it wasn't bad. All in all, it was a decent nursing home experience and my mother didn't complain or ask to return home. However, getting the final refund was super time-consuming. It took over 4 months of nagging in all forms before a check was issued. The official submission, requiring a visit to the billing office, was in early February. After that I emailed 3x, called 5x, faxed 1x, wrote and mailed a letter 1x, and submitted a corporate "contact us" comment. After 4 months I got a call from the Foley billing person asking if I had received the refund, which I had not. She said she thought I already had it (why, I don't know) and would expedite the process. She also claimed she didn't receive any of my numerous communications, including the messages I left for her. About a week later, a check arrived.
