I faced racial discrimination and wrongful termination at this facility. You would think a facilty who has paid two fines within the last two years and not to mention stopped receiving Medicare/Medicade in 2014 wouldn't dare to even discriminate but they did because in their eyes I was just a "black girl" who couldn't afford a lawyer but they were wrong. Imagining coming to work at 2:53pm thinking your going to station 3 to see your residents that you've grown to love and adore but your suddenly for the first time on station 1 where your not familiar with the residents or with how things work on that hall. A narcotic patch comes up stolen between 2:30pm-3:00pm and your the new girl who's picked to take the fall it's sad it's 2016 and your still facing racism at its best and what's even worst you take a drug test but the nurses in the room before you don't and your accused and while your hurting not just mentally and emotionally but physically because you had surgery last year and still haven't heald and is currently under doctors care your a poor college student so you do whatever you can to keep your job because you know your innocent so you fax your medical records to try to recieve your job back but your name has already been slanderd in their eyes your already guilty. A week later the same patient narcotic patch disappears and your no where to blame this time . God works in mysterious ways I went through hell but he blessed me with a higher paying job and the courage to speak to minorities warning them about placing their family members in a facility that practices racism. And eventhough there are minorities who are employed and are placed in high positions one things you must remember the game doesn't change remember in slavery you had some African-Americans in the fields while others were in the house. Every day isn't promised I can die anyday and I wanted to make sure I got this message out

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
