My mom Brenda lived here for over 3 yrs before she unexpectedly left us in February. The people here were nothing short of amazing to her. Did my mom love it there no, because she wanted to live in her own home with all of her own things around her. Her only complaint she had was the food. She loved every single person there and I know they all loved her too. They told her everyday they did and they told me as well. I could go there any time of the day or night and see her and see that she was being taken care of as well as others. I miss seeing the workers and I miss my mom horribly. I do have some unanswered questions regarding the day she was found. I know the answers would not change the outcome as to why she passed away as no one could have saved her. But if this is read by Springdale Village I would like someone to call me regarding that day. If I could make one recommendation is that they hire more CNA's. Thank you Springdale for loving my mom and taking such great care of her. Also thank you for the flowers you sent for her service.

I was a patient at Springdale Village for two weeks following hip surgery. I had a lovely private room overlooking the courtyard. Out of the numerous people caring for me, there was only one with a bad attitude. Everyone else was helpful, compassionate, and competent. I never had to wait long for a response to my call.Several of the staff went above and beyond their duties to improve my rehab life. The food was good and I was given a choice of entrees for each meal. The meals were well balanced, Although I would have liked more fresh fruit, fruit juice was always available .If there were a way to serve hotter meals, that would be good. The rehab room was a high energy place with positive vibes. Directions were given along with encouragement. The thing that impressed me most about Springdale Village was the upbeat attitude and helpfulness of the staff. If I ever need such a facility again, I will ask for Springdale Village.

If you have a loved one in this facility YOU MUST BE THEIR ADVOCATE! My mother was sent here after surgery. She was not given any of her reg. prescribed meds (including blood pressure)for the first 24 hours. When she got out of bed in the night she walked every hallway available to get her pain meds. Never saw a soul. I took her home the next day... for much better care!

This business needs to be BBB Accreditation. Please complain to the Better Business bureau if you suspect any negligence from this very expensive facility. Thx

If I could rate negative stars I would. Today my aunt passed away in this place and they didn't even let us now until hours later. My mother is the power of attorney and she wasn't even informed. The "healthcare providers" in this place violated HIPPA by telling other people about my aunts' demise instead of the power of attorney. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHY SHE DIED. We were told this morning they would call later to talk with us again but that never happened. When we called THEY HAD NO IDEA WHERE HER BODY WAS. Finally they said "we think she's here" and gave us a name. No address no phone number....who knows where my aunt is. DO NOT AGREE TO SEND LOVED ONES HERE. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE AND ARE UNBELIEVABLY NEGLIGENT. This was the worst place I've ever been to and I've never seen such horrible treatment to human beings in a place called a recovery center. Just know that if you check your loved one into Springdale you might not be checking them out...and I wish I was just being dramatic.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
