    My family had a horrible experience with the care my sister received here after her stroke. They didn't seem familiar with post stroke conditions or medication induced reactions. Totally unacceptable for a nursing home. They also left an unsupervised student nurse alone with her and she suffered a fall.

    This place is outstanding and the staff are all awesome but one staff stood out "TINA" (always professionally dressed) she was @ the lobby @ the time of our first encounter & she always greeted w/ smile! She is always very helpful and enthusiastic. One day, we came in needed help and she took the time & effort to do so even though she was already busy. She is very passionate with her job. I can tell this young lady will become one of the directors someday. We feel safe & secure knowing that our grandma will be taken care of. Thank you Tina!

    My mom peacefully passed away at Brookdale after almost a year and a half of being cared for. Her nurses came in to kiss her goodbye and give us hugs. They truly loved our entire family and we were touched by their kind words. Misi is the director and an amazing man. He would often come in to give my mom a kiss on the cheek and ask how she was doing. The entire staff works hard to make this place a home. We will miss them.

    I want to Shoutout to Tina at Brookdale in Camarillo. I get to see her first hand every week doing her work. She takes time to talk to each resident like they are family and it brings me such joy. I told her how much I admire her and she said that this is not just a job for her, it is her passion and it shows! She goes the extra mile to help not just the residents but all the visitors. When I come she greets me by name and says it must be Bridge night! When she sees my Dad walking down to lunch and dinner she is his own cheerleader! I'm so glad my Dad is here with people like Tina!
