I usually do not write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one after the amazing care my aunt received while she was a patient there. The nurses were caring and compassionate to her concerns and went above and beyond to make her comfortable. The therapy team did an amazing job getting her up and walking again as she was not an easy patient. Thank you to Capistrano Beach Care Center

I personally toured Capo Beach and picked this care center for my father because of the caring staff I met, cleanliness and beautiful location between gorgeous beach homes in a quiet neighborhood! It is the perfect place to rehab...thank you again to everyone for making his stay successful and making the family feel welcome even after hours!

All the way from the top to the bottom, the staff at Capistrano Beach Care Center, are professionals and are always willing to help. Having a Grandmother who suffers from Dementia, I know the importance of safe, and loving care for the elderly. Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
