    Spent four days here. Absolutely worst food ever, so many people in and out could not keep up with what was being done to me, slow service for restroom trips. Consequently, my roomy soiled herself several times. My physical therapist walked out on me twice. So I only got one of three scheduled sessions. And the best yet - they lost my extremely sentimental jewelry. Not in my room, not in the safe. My only conclusion is the it was stolen by staff. No amount of money will ever replace it. Gentleman roaming the hall late evening confused. Could not find anyone to help. You decide if you want to go there or not.

    I found my father on the ground -- twice! He was unattended for 2 hours by the staff. If you want to kill your parent(s), please make sure to take them to this place!

    Let's be honest. It's never great when you have to put a loved one into Skilled Nursing. I've had to put my mother in for post op recovery a couple of times now and ManorCare is just head and shoulders above other places I've seen. The staff actually seem to care about their jobs, it's easy to tell who's who by what their wearing. On her very first night, scared and confused, my mom was 'adopted' by one of the CNAs and she made the evening bearable for my mom and gave her a sense of security. I found several staff members like this at ManorCare. The food was above average for what I've seen in Skilled Nursing. I, for one, appreciate the care they showed my mom. If she ever has to go into skilled nursing again, this is the first place I'll check.
