    This facility was horrible! Filthy, overcrowded and there were orderlies drinking STAY AWAY! It looks nothing like the photos! Very misleading!

    My mother end up to be hospitalized twice due to lower GI bleeding during the short time of staying there, she lost so much blood that had to go through blood transfusions several time at the hospital. The rehab center staff are not trained also so careless to monitor patient, I was the one who noticed the bleeding and reported to the nurse, there is no proper care for the patients at this facility,

    They have really stepped up their game as far as the food is concerned, my mom is so happy this time around. Mom has been here about 4 times so far. Earlier this year the food was really lacking in all areas as usual. Huge shift for the better. The nurses have been very attentive and helpful. Only one person I did not get along with and I could tell she was sleep deprived. I would trust them for further rehab and am grateful they take mom's insurance. Encinitas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has made changes and we appreciate it!

    My close friend called me today hysterical. The nursing staff completely neglected her father at the facility. We went together and with my medical background I was able to give insight to the staff. Her father has Parkinson's and diabetes and is in a subcritical state of care however this facility was not treating properly. For instance, his medication was not distributed at the the proper time or AT ALL. I would not recommend for anyone to admit their family to this facility.
