    I was there for about six or seven days in Nov.2015 after having a heart valve operation & being transferred from St. Vincents' Hospital. My initial opinion was not happy. In a room with another patient who did not speak English and all the help spoke Spanish. I kind of felt left out But soon everything changed. A wonderful woman (Teresa Marroquin) took care of me. Nurse or Nurse's aid I don't know, but she just took me under her wing and made sure every day that everything was to my liking. I was wearing compression stockings to keep the swelling at bay, and we missed the laundry day, and it would have been another two or three days before I got them washed, and my little Teresa took it upon herself to hand wash my stockings by hand for me. That was not part of her job description I'm quite sure. She did little things like that, that were really big things to me. Three other people come to mind, Sara Flores who was there every day to check on me, Cynthia Clegg the nurse practioner who is a little fount of information is great, and last but not least Salvatore, who came everyday to clean our rooms and sing. He was always so cheerful. Personally I was happy with the food because if it was a day you did not like the menu you could choose to have a fabulous fresh fruit plate instead. This review is long overdue and I apologize to all concerned. Would I recommend Garden Crest, HELL YES!

    Excellent for short stay. Physical Therapy appears to be on target. My Dearest Mother is allready feeding herself. Not for Diabetics

    Very disappointed at this facility and to think we were sent by Kaiser. Some of the nurses and staff are great. Meals are all the same, they dont cater to diabetics. Facility is very outdated. Very sadden on how the Administration deal with "their" patients. They forget without them they wouldnt have a job everyday. Couldn't and wouldnt ever recommend this facility.

    I am seeing a relative here. Most of the staff is friendly and personable. The meals seem good. It doesn't smell like some hospitals do. The view is great, and the neighborhood is quiet. Parking is limited; watch the no-parking on Weds on the West side.

    My experience was less than favorable. My aunt was transferred to this facility and from the moment we got there. From broken equipment to unsanitary conditions of the facility and room and nurses who didn't know what was going on with my care or meds.
