    1) My three admissions at this facility have been very good. 2) The rehabilitation services are extraordinary. 3) The food could be a bit better in quality 4) I would wholeheartedly recommend this Healthcare facility to family and friends.

My sister has been at Excell for the better part of a month. During her stay the entire nursing and administrative staff have gone out of their way to make her feel safe, secure, and respected. We have reliable and consistent communication and they have been sensitive to her needs as well as mine. Our family has had numerous experiences with Long Term Care facilities. Excell ranks at the top of all of those.

My greatest experience at Excell is that I learn how to be more careful and looking forward to applying the fact that I have to be more careful. Staff are very helpful to me and to each other it's amazing that it's a lot of them and get along and helping each other.

I couldn't ask for better care. Staff is always eager to assist with whatever we need. When there's any concern I feel very comfortable talking with personnel and solution immediately addressed. Great group of folks. Thanks a bunch.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
