    Overall a nice short term place that helped get my Pop back on his feet. It takes a special person to do all the things these nurses and staff do. I did feel that they were short staffed though. There was a few times I needed help and had trouble flagging someone down. If you decide on putting your family or loved one here, bring them food. They have horrible food. AND don't leave them if they can't get around well. There is not enough staff there to help your loved one 24/7. They have a nice outside area where family can sit and visit. They put 3 people to a room so space is tight. There's one bathroom per room and it is so gross. I didn't even want to use the restroom there, I drove to a gas station down the street whenever I needed to go.

    The Day time staff is excellent!!! ( for the most part) but there Is an exception to every rule. Evenings, Weekends and Nights are Atrocious!!! Like who's in charge? Kind of like an old song by the group " Chicago" ," ...does anybody really know what time it is? ... Does anybody really care?!!!" WOW! It literally goes from night to day in the sense of care. Call lights being ignored, 30 minutes, .... 45 minutes.... "What?, You know... I've had two strokes, I'M. Sorry... I really don't remember what I needed. (I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.) I don't want t be misunderstood Brookside has some excellent staff members Courteous, Very Professioal, and very Caring but unfourtanately they are the Housekeepers and the kitchen staff!!! Wonderful people. Except for a chosen few that can actually be counted on the fingers of my two hands and the afore mentioned... I personally would not trust The Rest of the Brookside Staff to Care for an '...ailing Baboon!!!"

    This is a wonderful facility wonderful staff very good physical therapy staff i was there after a my stroke staff was very attentive they were very professional medication was always on time lots of activities for the patients even met my spiritual needs I returned to be a volunteer after completing my recovery i enjoy working with the patients and staff keep up the good work

    I would give this place 0 stars. My father was here for 12 hours, with the knowledge that he was likely to fall, and he fell. No one was watching him, no one called us. Don't send anyone here.

    My dad was supposed to be here for 2 weeks, he could barely stand 2 hours there. He said the bathroom stunk, there where only 2 attendances for the wing of 25 people. 3 people to a room and two of them fighting over who got to go the bathroom first when the attendant finally got there. This place was absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't even give it a star, but this review system makes you.
