    My cousin has been living here for 5 years. The staff is outstanding! The nurses and caregivers not only take good care of him but do so with a smile. He likes to sing so they make sure he can participate with the visiting performers. They even put on a program where he was the "star" performer. His physical and emotional needs are handled with professional care and respect. The staff helps me with his financial and medical problems. They set up appointments and his transportation to them. The facility is clean and decorated for holidays. There are activities such as bingo and art projects. Woodland Care Center has my highest praise and thanks.

    I will not request to go here. The two ladies I know personally had similar issues. Why would you need a catheter? Possibly because then you won't need to be cleaned up as often and more income from the insurance company. Call button is a Law. Answering it is something else.

    Horrid. They left me in a room with 2 older lady's and never answered the call button. I had to throw a tissue box to get nurses attention when she was diapering another lady, I said I needed to use restroom - she said " ok you go"!!! So I tried to walk ( just had back surgery) fell in bathroom chipped bottom teeth on toilet and still no help! I called a friend to come get me at dawn and they never helped me paying to fix teeth! Stinky, understaffed horrid place. Shame on anyone who lets a family member go here!

    After the first night with being left without having been connected to my oxygen I knew I had to get out of there. I won't go into any more detail about the food or how dirty the place was but I did have a hard time finding someone who could understand that I wanted to talk to the doctor and that I was leaving as soon as my family could come and get me. This place needs to have an inspection team sent out to check everything and I do mean everything.
