    Best facility in California. Great customer service and overall great care for my dad. Unfortunately, my father died late April but he was in great care at Villa Rancho Bernardo.

    The caring staff were wonderful. They answered my questions and shared my concerns at all times. The place has an at home feel throughout, and the food was wonderful. I slept well at night knowing my loived one was in fantastic hands.

    I am a degree-holding RN. Please DO NOT send your loved one here. I have witnessed so much lack of quality care, I got sick. It is profit driven care from vocational nurses (less education than a Registered Nurse). The motto of the company was "When "state" comes around once a year, we act and do XYZ, the rest of the year we do COQ." In other words, short-cut around and perform sub-standard care. I took my time and passed meds carefully, spent time with my patients, and after no knowing "everything" in the span of 3 weeks, I was let go (I was too slow and told that I had no confidence). I am glad to say that I do not work here anymore and care more about high-quality patient care 365 days a year. Please check out nursing home ratings sites in the state of California, do your homework.PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOU LOVED ONES HERE. Thank you.
