    Great patient care 24/7. Very friendly & helpful staff. PT gym, OT and speech therapy form the pillars of rehab here. There are long term folks that desire an assisted living environment. Social calendar, free hair cutting, activity room, lovely interior plaza view, visitor's room, TV's, fast Wi-Fi and desktop PC's. Right around the corner from W.25th Avenue where many great restaurants are. The Spot, Cobani Gyros & Kabobs. and Little Shanghai Rest. are some of the ones I have tried & like. Street parking in front of the property is two hours excepts Sundays. Rear parking belongs to the property and U can park longer there. Have noticed parking in the back opens up after 3:30PM.

    Kinda shady spot to keep your beloved elders. I volunteered here and experienced some dubious actions by employees. Just not caring quite as much about the old folks that won't remember it. Elders deserve more respect than I thought they were getting here.

    It's a hard job to care for the elderly, especially those who are cranky, needy, and suffer from mental disease. However, people who chose this profession should be more patient than the rest of us. Such is not the case with many nurses at Brookside. Many of them are Filipino and speak their native language in front of the patience and their family. For most elderly this is an irritation. There is much room for improvement at this facility. Including a lack of prompt service and a need to eliminate apathy amongst the staff. On the other hand the physical therapists are nice and do an average job.
