    DO NOT LET A LOVED ONE STAY HERE! Our mom came here after she woke from a coma, because of a fractured hip. Other then that she was fine. She left this facility with a large infected bedsore. It was not documented in her charts until she was being released. Not even our dad was told. He was there every day. Which led to a blood infection and a little more then a week later our mom passed away. Not 2 weeks before we visited her. She was awake, alert, talking and eating. During our visit she called the caregivers evil and wanted to come home. We also discovered a friction burn on her thumb, where it looked like her hand was forcibly ripped away from the guardrail of the hospital bed. Mom was less then 100lbs. Mom could not move out of bed on her own. How could that wound get there? Please give this review some thought before this happens to your loved one. Also don't think that what they are telling you it is from their condition, whatever that might be. Had we known what was going on, we would have taken her home right then and there. Due to neglecting her wound, and not having it taken care of, and the forceful treatment, our mom passed away. I would not even give this place 1 star, but i have to. If I could put a picture of her wound and sore I would. You would be disgusted and sickened by what it looked like. Please do not let anyone you know stay here for any reason !

    The care was okay the food was not ood at all. Nutrition is key to recovery. I had my husband and friends bring in food. The staff were very nice and helpful. Physical therapy was great they really taught me safety first and how to walk again.

    I recently attended VCC and words can not describe my experience. The nursing staff in London station were amazing and eagerly attended to my every need. Especially the young man who worked in the afternoon. Not so much the ladies in the morning. But besides them I had a wonderful experience and recovered from back surgery with flying results
