    If I could leave 0 stars I would. Cedarwood is the WORST nursing home I have EVER seen! The police are there constantly, there are known drug addicts allowed to continue to live in the facility. They house homeless people who don't even need to be there, they also house the mentally insane. I worked as a housekeeper, for the company for about a year. I was told they needed help, soon as I came in could tell that the facility had many issues. I had no idea. I was told to,"watch our for needles", not in the sharps container, nope randomly in trash cans. Why? Because there are known heroin users in the facility. Not that they will do anything about it. I have been nearly attacked by crazy meth users tearing through my trash. The nurses quit so often, don't come in and the residents suffer. I have seen so many residents need help and the call light isn't even accessible. I had to go in to give it to them, and then they have to wait for almost an hour for anyone to even notice them. Sometimes the nurses would come in, not say a word and just turn the light off. Not even addressing the patient. I have seen nurses eating the residents food and instead of answering lights talking, and I mean just gossiping about people for a good fifteen minutes or so. They are rude as hell to the patients. They don't separate the Alzheimer's patients from the cognitively sounds patients. The facility looses their workers so often it is something I have never seen. I plan on filing a complaint to the state medical board. Seriously think that the administrator is a very good reason why the facility treats its faculty the way that they do, and the residents are getting the shaft as well. Please for the love of God, it would be better to go ANYWHERE else than this facility. Drugs, police, total disorganization, and they don't even have the bare necessities in the building. If you want to possibly be stuck with a needle, scared of an attack from a mentally unstable/drug user, and not even clearing 30 hours a week. This place is for u! If you have a brain inside your head, you will look elsewhere for a job. Just DON'T DO IT.

    This is the most deplorable,disgusting facility for health care one can imagine. They all want to be boss and I pray I can be here on the last day of the management's to hold the door wide open for her. This could be a well run facility. I got conned into coming here from the hospital, in a half mental state because I have 100% Medicaid. You people wonder why this country is going broke. Simply greed. Such as here!!! Prove me wrong!!!
