    Don't go here. We were told they could take care of our mom who needs FULL ASSIST care with no problem. Upon review the Director calls us and then starts singing another tune about he's not sure if they can do it bc they already have one person who is a full time assist and they don't think they can handle it staffing wise. Then why did you ask for the paperwork on our mother and tell us you could "most definitely provide her with excellent care"? That was a waste of our time! Stay away as they apparently don't like to work with FULL ASSIST people. It could be that they just didn't want someone who is on a Medicaid Spend Down account.

    My Mother died here 2 days after being sent here by Denver Health. Yes she. Was dieing but I never expected she would have to pass here. I should have put her in her bed at her apt. This place took some of her items and sent her to the funeral home without her teeth. I never got her jewelry back and the funeral home didn't have it. I personally know them, my brother was a Co owner before he passed. Very disappointed.

    To anyone looking for a safe, clean and very competitient staff, I highly recommend Berkley Manor. After exhaustively looking for a home that took Medicaid Pending for my dad, this home jumped at the chance of helping my dad. They did not snub their noses because he was Medicaid but warmly welcomed him with warm cookies and a glass of milk as he entered the facility. I found the staff to be extremely responsive and dropped everything and attended to our needs everytime we asked. When it was time for my father to pass, they moved heaven and earth to provide a private room for my family to surround him in peace during his last hours. What more can you ask for in a nursing home. You cannot go wrong. Trust me, i do my homework and Medicare ratings are not everything. They had above ave. ratings but the proof is in the pudding. I highly recommend you consider this facility for your loved ones. It's as important to you that they are comfortable and well taken care of as it is a nice place to spend time for both of you. Thank you Berkley Manor.
