    My mother was a patient there last year and we were very pleased, but when we had to return again this month the care and lack of support was much different. With her previous stay the nurses were more attentive and administration was more involved. But on this occasion we saw the complete opposite. Nursing care was horrible and with their lack of care my mother was sent back out to the hospital. When I tried to speak with the administrator he was never available and didn't seem to care. Which is similar to the nursing staff because they didn't seem to care either. Not sure if Regents Park Aventura is under new management but this is no way to treat the sick and elderly.

    This is a nursing home/rehab center. The rehab department is excellent. Both the occupational & physical therapists do a fantastic job. The nursing staff is mostly good but the CNA' s need work.

    I generally never write reviews but I felt so compelled to write this one regarding Regents Park at Aventura . Our father is a patient there and during hurricane Irma, myself and family were so worried about the safety of our father. The staff there ensured us dad would be safe and we have nothing to worry about. We asked if we could stay there during the hurricane to be with our father and they were more then happy to accommodate us. Every single staff member from administration, nursing, kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance were so helpful and reassuring . The team work they demonstrated felt more like one big family then an institution. The one concern we did have was the absence of their Director Of Nursing and the Asst Director of Nursing in the facility during what could have been a life devastating event. To our surprise the Director Of Nursing did not even show up the next day to check on the wellbeing of the patients. But with that said the staff they did have were truly amazing, helpful and most important they were so compassionate and sympathetic to everyone even the families who decided to stay with their loved ones. They accommodated us as well as continuing to take care of all the patients. Thank you Regents Park, We will never be enough thank you's to show our appreciation to our new extended family we call Regents Park.
