From the start, the staff at Advance CC has been extremely vested in helping my Mother get better. My Mother's needs have been met and exceeded my expectations of care. The Nurses and Nurse Assistants have been great with their bedside manners and general disposition when helping my Mother. Angelica especially has been great. All of the Physical Therapists have been amazing. She loved her PT while at Advanced. She is better now then when she entered the facility. Luisa, Tee and Regina in the front offices were also crucial in helping me personally navigate thru the Medicare/Medicaid process. I am personally grateful for their compassion and willingness to help me through the application process. They have made me feel at ease. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone who is needing compassionate care. Sincerely appreciate everything, Richard

My family and I Absolutely loved this nursing home. It's very inviting and comfortable. We were able to make my grandmother's room feel like home so to speak by bringing in her photo albums, hung a few pictures, brought her own comforter, and pillow. I loved that Advanced allowed us to make her room more cozy. The staff really tried to accommodate us. We are so thankful.

My cousin had knee surgery and his doctor recommended Advanced Care . My wife and I toured last night because we've personally been in this situation and we needed to see what this place looked like. We liked that his assisted living is next door; remaining close is very important to my cousin and this is a plus. We did not schedule an appointment, we just showed up. We were greeted and we felt welcomed from the very beginning. The therapy gym is a decent size, it does not smell, and the rooms are spacious, We spoke to a few patients who are there for therapy and they were happy; we even received an invitation to eat dinner with them. After leaving Advanced, my wife and I felt good about him coming here for therapy. I'll give updates on my review because we could have picked anywhere, and we're choosing Advanced.

My mother came here last weekend and I wasn't sure if she was going to be happy or not, and so far she's made major improvements. The Administrative staff gave me their direct numbers and now I'm able to have full access to them, even if it's 3am. (I would never call at 3am btw) By them giving me their personal numbers, reassured me my mother will be fine in their care.

We hit it off with Ashley the blonde lady who met my family at Morton Plant. She was really informative and knowledgeable about her building and the services they offer. Upon visiting Advanced Care Center I noticed the common areas to be very clean, warm and inviting. The units are dated, but the building still has charm. There are plenty of activities offered in this building. We liked the size of the building as it was small and easy to get around. The location works well for us to be able to visit often and walk to because my husband lives in Grand Villa.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
