    This truly is a hidden gem! I found nothing wrong with this place. I placed my mother here for a 5 day respite and when I picked her up, she was very happy and content, right where she was. The staff was welcoming and professional. There were no lingering unpleasant odors. My Mom was clean, dressed, warm and alert. She had a visitor and they were also pleased with this facility. It was a great experience and I recommend this facility for your love ones. Thank you for the peace of mind!

    Terrible place. They keep a good image to make you think its a good rehab center. My grandfather was given full access to coffee 24/7 without carrying that it rises his blood pressure. He also had photos takes of him while he was asleep by one of there workers. We tryed to take him out when his insurance ended, they thrented to call social services and the police because it goes aganst Dr orders. But only said because they thought we qualifyed for medicade. Once they found out he does not qualify they made him leave the same day. When we picked him up they wouldent give us he's breathing treatments and oxygen which he needs, saying that he never received oxygen which we have seen him in everyday. Once we got him home and sorted through his medicine, we found that they used his medication from home that they "required". they also have taken all of he's needed nercoducs. And only gave us the cheap medications. He didn't receive all of he's needed medications which made him sick. They absolutely do not care about the people there. DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR FAMILY TO A HORRABLE PLACE LIKE THIS!

    My aunt has been in this facility for 5 days and nights. She is yet to be given a bath> She has a bed and a wheel chair. she needs assistance to walk but when she needed to go to the bathroom she was told she just went a while ago so she could just pee in her pants. they transferred her from one room to another and in the process lost most of her clothing. people are all over the hallways in wheelchairs.some just float around and most just slump over and sleep. people in prison have it better than here

    My adopted mother was admitted due to a facility transfer where she was being heavily medicated.The staff at harbour wood held her against her will, when my mother wanted to come home they simply would not allow it.My mother had a power of attorney at that time that exploited her.The staff at harbour wood health and rehabilitation would not help her.They would kick out every lawyer I sent their- take the lawyers papers from their hands and say,"The patient is not allowed to sign any papers and she is not allowed to go home or talk to any lawyers."When I tried revoking the lady that was exploiting my mother.Finally I had an attorney revoke the poa.My mother is now home and we are in the process of filing a huge lawsuit.These nursing homes need to conduct their facilities in a proper professional manner.Do not bring your loved ones their.
