If I could give negative stars I absolutely would! This place is a joke. My mother in law is a cardiac patient as well as diabetic...they give her pizza, burgers, pork. MOST of the staff is very rude to the patients. If the patients ask for anything...they act like they have asked for the world. When me and my husband come to visit they act like it's a burden to push a button to let us enter or exit. My mother in law is disgusted with this place. She absolutely hates it here. I wouldn't want my worst enemy (taken care of) here!

This facility was very clean and organized. The nursing staff always ensured that I had everything I needed. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at a home away from home. The staff was very friendly and made sure that I was comfortable and helped decrease the anxiety I had before being admitted. The rehab helped me meet my goals and ensured that I was able to get back on my feet and back home when I needed to. I would recommend the facility to all of my friends and family thank you Destin healthcare for all you're hard work

Destin Healthcare is a clean and welcoming building. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had a loved one spend her last few weeks at Destin Healthcare and I am so thankful she had the caring staff at her bedside. They were also a huge support for myself and my family in our time of need and loss. I would highly recommend Destin for any healthcare needs that you or your family might need.

Destin Healthcare is such an awesome facility! I have spent lots of there over the last few years. The staff took great care of my loved one while in the facility, and my family and I were always treated kindly when we visited. This will always be the first place I will recommended to anyone I know that is searching for a rehab facility!

Destin Healthcare and Rehab is an amazing facility. From the first impression upon admission to the continuance of care provided from nursing and therapy, I would highly recommend this facility. This facility really takes into heart the care for their residents and staff. It truly shows!

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
