My aunt became a resident here last week. Honestly after reading the reviews I was very worried about her coming here. So far I have nothing negative to say about this place besides you can clearly see they are under staffed. From what I see these people do the best they can. We all love her nurse Terri. She is friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks for making a difficult situation just a little easier!

I arrived by ambulance early October 7. They had no nurse to assist me or wheelchair. I was told my medical questions were not my business. I was transferred from Saint Joseph Hospital in Tampa with a bag of dressing supplies,a dozen no slip shoes and washing towelettes. 90 nicotine patches and enough pain meds for 2 weeks. I started experiencing chest pains and was told I couldn't call 911. I called, ambulance transported me to hospital where I had high blood pressure and was dehydrated. Only 14 hours. Monday I call for my belongings including medicine and was told they don't belong to me and was hung up on. I'm making it my mission to close this place down if nothing g else Cigna Insurance will never have them listed as providers

They seem a bit understaffed but other than that the place doesn't seem as bad as most of the comments make it out to be! It's not dirty and doesn't have roaches everywhere. Like some cpmmwnts said. And the staff is nice and the food isn't half bad either!

One star is way too good for this place. My mom had suffered a stroke and was sent here. She was able to walk before being sent here. They were cruel to her left her sitting in her own feces for up to 5 hours before one of the only good staff members came to her rescue!!!! She contracted c-diff 4 times, had a severe UTI and they drugged her with prozac to the point of hospitalization. They left her vomiting for an entire month refusing to help her because they said she was forcing herself. She was denied physical therapy and it caused her to have foot drop so severly she cant walk now. This is the absolute worst rehab facility I've ever seen. The patients are made to wait for when the employees can squeeze them in between talking amongst themselves in creole. This place needs to be shut asap. Place is filthy and infested with fireants. They affected our lives so much, and for the worst. Nobody send you friends or loved ones there because they will end up killing them like miss sue! She had a stroke and they never checked on her and they left her body there for hours. "Waiting for the coroner" .SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN ASAP.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
