    Avalon has done an excellent job of caring for my father after a recent hospital stay. He left the hospital very weak and we were uncertain whether he could regain his former strength to return to assisted living. The physical and occupational therapy teams have made amazing progress with him. They took all the necessary steps to prepare him for the exercise including adjusting a medication that was making him tired. All of my questions and concerns have been responded to promptly. He is very happy with Avalon- the staff, the care and the food. All said, the poor reviews that I have seen in the past do not seem warranted at this time. Nice people- very professional. Nice turnaround.

    Absolutely awful place to put a loved one.I have been trying to get a hold of Jennifer the unit manager and every time I did she have me the run around and a fake smile. Same as I got with the old unit manager Greg whom I guess he has rubbed off on her because the rumor is they are in a relationship which she is married. These people constantly drop the ball and aren't very customer service oriented. They will have a lot to pay for when their time comes. If you have a family member that cannot speak for themselves DO NOT put them here.
