    I am glad I listened to the good google reviews. It's an older building but kept clean. The staff are very hard workers and have very good hearts. The management is out and about and working alongside their staff. The DON truly cares about the residents and their care. The staff was welcoming from the very first day and any one I had the pleasure of dealing with was happy with positive attitudes. My dad was there for almost 2 months and had complex medical issue but still very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this nursing home for your loved one.

    This facility is a god send. My mother has dementia and for fear of her walking out of my house, I had to place her in a nursing home. I was leary of making this move but had to keep her safe. The management of the Groves Center eased my fears and reassured me that they would keep mom safe and take good care of her. They have did just that. My mother has become become part of the family here. It feels so good to visit my mother and see her happy and feeling at home. She wanders throughout the day and the staff is so attentive to her needs. If I could I would give the Groves Center 10 stars for a job well done.

    My mother has been a resident here for years. The staff truly treats her like one of the family. I wouldn't place her in any other nursing home. I don't agree with the other negative reviews. I visit several times a week, staff is always nice and polite and place is clean with no smells. As for the food, my mother doesn't have any complaints. Of course, it's an institution so you can't expect it to taste like home cooked meals. I think they do a good job of caring for my mother.

    My brother has been in nursing homes twice in the last few years for rehabilitation. The first time we picked one of the top rated homes in Winter Haven and didn't have a good experience. The second time we were very leary of nursing homes but had to choose one. Second time around was a charm. The staff was attentive and took care of his needs. Bunch of very hard workers that truly care about people. My brother has a lot of health issues and if he is hospitalized again, we will definitely pick the Groves Center for his recovery.

    This building is always clean no smell. Staff is very polite. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. The people that live there are happy and very well groomed.
