Mom was discharged yesterday! The facility and staff were truly an Easter Blessing. Mom did fantastic, it was such a great experience given the circumstances. The staff always were very welcoming, and treated my mom and entire family like we were all family. I wish we could have met the entire staff under different circumstance, but they never stopped delivering exceptional service. I would highly recommend Atlantic Shores !

Great therapy and nursing care! The staff and managers always took the time to talk to me and take care of my concerns, from the time I was in the hospital, until it was time to go home from rehab. Simple place, but great experience.

My husband Conrad Couture was a long term nursing home patient for 1 year and 4 months at Atlantic Shores. He passed away May 24th 2019. I was very pleased with the Administration Staff and the Nurses, CNA'S, Rehabilitation Staff. Thank you for taking good care of Conrad. May God bless you. Thank you, Robin Lynn Couture

This is a wonderful facility. The staff are very nice and caring from the Business office, to the case manager and the nursing staff. My Aunt is very well taken care of, and she is happy and peaceful. Thank you all.

Atlantic Shores is a great facility. It is bright and clean and several of the staff have been working there for many years and really know their Residents. The food is good and they host holiday luncheons for family members to include a private dining area for special events. They provide short term rehab with excellent therapy, and therapists work one on one with each patient seven days a week. If you are looking for long term care, the knowledgeable staff in the admin office will assist family members and patients every step of the way to make the process as stress free as possible. Any issues or concerns are dealt with promptly and efficiently by management. There is a reason the facility is rated 5 stars by Medicare. If you are looking for a loved one, check this facility out, you won't be disappointed.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
