    My dad was transferred to this facility after having had a peg tube surgery on valentine's day. My father was diagnosed with ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis a little over 3 years ago. We tried to keep my dad at home as long as we could, but the disease continued to progress and my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. We had no option but to place him in a place that could take care of him while relieving some kind of stress out of our very chaotic lifes. He did not want to be placed anywhere, he wanted to stay with us, his family, as he felt save and loved. Everyone at jackson plaza made him feel welcomed, made him feel loved. Every nurse, specially Jairo, vladimir, etc, Mercy, the social worker, and everyone there, were so special. They made the imposible possible for the short period of time that he was there. They are all human beings, not just employees, they care about their patients and their families. My father passed on march 30th while there. Everyone there not only prepared us for what was about to come but held our hand in the process. They even provided a psychologist for the family. I thank everyone at jackson plaza for having given my dad and my family love and care. I recomend this facility.
