Great care for elderly people. My mother have become part of the residents and I never felt that comfortable on leaving her in a nursery home as I feel in Riverside. Before she was having rehab in Ponce Plaza, Floridean and Rivera. The personnel in Riverside is very caring and professional. They keep the family members inform about everything related to the treatment and condition of the patients. I have no complaints so far! Well done Riverside!!

So I kept reading reviews and I was a little skeptical. Yes the building itself could use some work. My mom had been here for 4 months now and I can say that I can turn an eye to the cosmetics of the building because they are taking care of herm she is clean, no bed sores and they are on top of her. I have dropped by for unexpected visits and have had no issues.

Compare The Number of Problems
Types of Problems at Nursing Homes
Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.
Residents Affected | |||
Severity of the Deficiency | Few | Some | Many |
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety | J | K | L |
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy | G | H | I |
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy | D | E | F |
