    My mother is a resident here. We live in the Orlando area, so we visit frequently. The building is old, but don't judge a book by its cover. We have been very pleased with the care and the staff. She attends physical therapy regularly and they have been great. The nurses and aides are very attentive and caring and friendly as are all the support staff and admin. We attended a family Thanksgivng dinner which was lovely. They make an effort here and it shows.

    My mom was there, the personel is excellent. The place is clean. The social Mr. Donnovan is a very helpful ,sweet and commitment person. He heard your doubts and worries and respond to every question. The nurses are awesome and also the food. My mom was in good hands.

    Rosewood has some good with the bigger bad. One nurse was kinda rudish to me during night visits. Had to be moved from a double occupancy room due to a patient was spend the entire night talking and carrying on!! They gave me a room that was aweful. No TV (they broughts one over. The bed was creaky, and most of their furniture is from the 80s or something. I laughed at the nurse call button - it's a bulb! The room like a spare. I hope they don't charge me double room rates for a single room. They don't have any adequate radiology service so they outsource Xrays which you can not get any copies of it. Just very old facility. Donovan was nice, he came every morning. Food was most of the time lukewarm and not to what wanted to eat so I would not eat. They brought someone who took my likes from my dislikes of food and did nothing. Physical therapy personnel was very nice and engaging. My main problem was that while I did physical therapy I did NOT need to stay there for a week and a half. It was then they gave me my "welcome package" and with the help of supervisor who visited I found out that I had the right to ask verbally and in writing WHY I had to stay there because I could have stayed home and gone for physical therapy. When I demanded to get that in writing they released me. I say KNOW YOUR RIGHTS and why you are there. Personally I don't think I need to stay at the facility, and other than the night disruptions it was "okay". Please do your due diligence. I would have chosen another facility if I knew this. Since I came from the hospital I didn't have an opportunity to check them out.

    A family member was there for 5 days and after being discharged his caretaker noticed a very very very bad rash in his groin area! My mom visited twice but had no reason to check that area however at each visit he strongly smelled of urine and my mom had to tell an aide to change him and clean him up! Hearing this broke my heart and he will NEVER go there again! Never send your lived one to a facility where the employees dont do/enjoy their job! My family member is handicapped and depends on those caring for him to do their jobs! He doesnt speak up about how he feels thats why it is soooo important that their job is done! I dont have names or pictures but he will never go there again! Shame on you Rosewood Health and Rehabilitation!! ??????????
