    Horrible! This place is fully and the staff are uneducated and not well trained. I heard my roommate be belittled and cursed at. They run out of your medication. This place should be shut down. If I could give it no stars I would.

    I'm here right now after heart surgery & never plan to come back. I had actually made arrangements with The Ponce to be transfered when I met a nurse by the name of Joanne who actually seemed to care & get things done. I decided to stick it out. The administration staff is rude & alloof. I've had a wound needing attention since getting here 5 days ago (they have a special person for that). The rooms stay around 80deg during a summer day no matter where you set your a/c. The beds are hard as plywood & they won't allow you to have a mattress pad claiming it's a fire hazard. This is a non smoking facility so how would a mattress pad catch fire any more than a set of sheets, pillows, bed mattress, I could go on but why? They hand out pain pills here like candy & no wonder. The beds are so uncomfortable the only way to get decent sleep is to take them. In short if you have a loved one I DO NOT RECOMMEND ST. AUGUSTINE HEALTH & REHAB!

    There are many good people at St Augustine Health and Rehab. However, some are not. The night staff is a little to be desired. I often think my mother had survived in spite of the care there instead of due to the care there. To be taken to ER with a blood sugar level of 27 while in their care? She was brought to the bathroom and then left unattended. There were several at St Augusine Health and Rehab that were very rude to her and treated her like an inconvenience. This is a disgrace. If I could rate St Augustine Health and Rehab in the negative, I would. It is such a shame that people are so neglected by a place that boasts about their care and the home like atmosphere. Aside from all of this, finding out the doctor that my mother was under the care of while she was there required detective work. The doctor never reached out to the family.

    This place is old no security and the nursing staff is rated 2 star's. I need to get my family member out. She's has been here for over 2weeks and she has not even been able to shower. The elders get no respect after paying life's dues. Where is the compassion and respect for the job you have been in trusted to do. God please take care of all the patients here. In Jesus name Amen!

    One of THE worst places to work at! Management does NOT care about their CNA's! Nurses will physically put their hands on you and get away with it because they are a higher status than you! Pay maybe great, but they do NOT care about you or your well being!
