    My mother in law has been at Sarasota Point the past 3 months and we have been please with the care given to her by the staff. The Administration,Management,Social Services, Nurses, CNA, Activities, MDS, Guardian Angels, Housekeeping, Dietary Maitence department and Hospice team has been very professional, going above and beyond the call of duty for caring for her the residents and familes. The facility and mom room is always clean, and smells nice hats off to the house keeping department. The call light is answer in a timely manner and we are always treated with respect and digity. Her CNA Cheron is very caring and goes above and beyond to help, answer questions and assist mom in every way possible, with a positive attitude We admire the CNA'S for keeping mom clean wash, plat and grease her hair weekly, we do not have to ask them to plat her hair or pay them to do this, thats a plus this is done with her daily care . We appreciate each department and staff member for all the hard work, doing their part and working together as a team. We want to let you all no that we see the difference, we are glad we transferred her to Sarasota Point and Rehabilitation. I also notice that the staff in this facility is not idle around the Nurses station, on the cellphones and watching TV, they are always busy taking care of the residents and that's a plus. The Administration Management and Charge Nurses team are a always available to answer questions assist residents and familes.     I was basically lied to by members of staff that ensured me my father's transportation was all in hand. When he arrived at the hospital , NO PAPERWORK WAS SENT WITH HIM, NO ONE AT THE HOSPITAL KNEW HE WAS EVEN COMING. It was mortifying. When I confronted the administrators about this they basically had no defense. Completely mishandled start to finish. Decent place, needs new administration. :(
