    Shore Acres Care Center is a wonderful facility. I really enjoyed spending time here! The new leadership and staff are very friendly, and they care a lot for the residents and the staff!

    If negative 100 was a rating option, that would be my choice. Unless you want your loved one to be mistreated, DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! My grandmother was placed here for rehab and it was HORRENDOUS from day one. Firstly, the place is disgusting. None of the trashbins in the rooms had bags and soiled items were falling out all over the floor and were left like that for days. In the middle of the night no one would answer calls for help to the bathroom. Nurses were rude and would consistently lie about EVERYTHING. My grandmother was placed in soiled clothes that did not belong to her and were 4 sizes too small even though she had a full closet of clean clothes that were brought for her. She was provided ripped and torn bedding & socks that appeared dirty. Their contolled substance drug logs were left in the open for anyone to see and to be quite honest, I could have easily taken it out of the building without anyone noticing. This is only the tip of the iceberg here. If anyone looking for a nursing home/rehab center would like to speak directly to me in regards to my experience I would be happy to do so. Hopefully this information will save someones life.
