    My brother had to spend a couple weeks there during the summer for rehab after being released from the hospital. Upon each visit, there the staff was friendly and attentive, my brother was always clean and appeared to be very comfortable there. His room was clean and no bad odors. I was very pleased with this place.

    Yes the staff esp the management and those front desk old women are so annoying they think and do things like in old old ways they need to replace them with younger youthfull lively energetic lively people who love what they are doing. Was so disappointed with this place

    Admitted my brother on February 9, 2017, paying $7,050 for the full month of February 2017. As my brother had terminal cancer, he passed away on March 3, 2017. While my brother received adequate care during his final days at the nursing center, the financial management interaction rates as a complete failure. Since March, I have attempted to collect a $1,300 overpayment to the center. I have called numerous times as well as sending a certified demand letter for reimbursement. As of today. May 24, 2017, the nursing center has not responded to my requests. My next steps are contacting News Channel 8, action reporter, filing complaints with the Florida State Attorney's Office and Hillsborough County Consumer Affairs Department, and commencing legal action. My financial interaction with University Village Nursing Center has been a complete and total distasteful experience. Their total indifference to honoring their financial obligation to my brother's estate is demeaning and proof they put financial profit above caring for the welfare of the very people they pledged to care and serve. Please do not make the same mistake of trusting University Village Nursing Center as I did. John Fitzhenry, Valrico, FL
