    Over this past weekend my grandmother was taken to Bandywyne Health Care Center. The visit was a 2 day care visit to allow my aunt who has been 24/7 devoted to the care of my grandmother to get 2 days to relax. When my aunt came to pick up my grandmother she was in OVER medicated, and covered in BRUISES from what the nurse claimed was a fall backwards. No bruising to her back or head, but she fell backwards??? A black eye does not substitute for a backwards fall! In addition to, there was no incident report filled for the "backwards fall" I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a nursing home that will take care of your loved one. If this is how they treat patients after only 2 days of care imagine (I pray for them) those who are there long term....

    My sister took my mom for the weekend. My mom has Dementia. My oldest sister visited mom she was soak in her own urine, when my other sister pick up mom. She had a black eye, bruised knees and bruises on the side of her leg. The staff never file an incident report, and didnt send mom to the hospital to make sure she was ok. The staff also over medicated my mom. My mom was neglected. The staff also lost her glasses. The staff mistreated my mom. This is 1 of the worst place you can put your love ones. My mom was supposed to be safe, instead mom comes home with bruises.My mom was there ONLY 2 DAYS!! I feel so sad for the residents who are still there. May God keep them safe.

    First of all Brandywyne Healthcare is not bad like everyone on this site has wrote. Melissa Hobson first of all you was a complaining miserable nurse. When you did work nights you never walked down the hall to check on the patients at all. Brandywyne Healthcare may have their faults but all nursing homes do. Family members drop their parents off and never look back at them until they die or something happen to get a law sue. So Melissa Hobson just move on you didnt like it ok many dont but dont bash people you dont even know about at all.

    Idk about unit two but unit is disgusting.......the aides are absolutely rude and ignorant!!!! Not all but enough!!! Ive heard them swear at the residents....grab things from their hands....even a nurse told a resident she wld f....push her....f.....ass on the floor.....night shift doesnt do rounds.....resident lay all night with just a sheet soaked in urine and no heat on all night state needs to go there plant a nurse or aide there and see for them selves!!!!!!

    A very wonderful place to work?but I've I got fired from the job at the time of Irma when they ask everyone to stay off roads& doing the time I had to be at work they wouldn't let me drive are be on the roads.of the time Irma appears?and I let them know why I couldn't come and they wasn't worried about me and nor"my safety..they just call and told me I have no job and dnt bother to come?wow...now I'm out of work..and still looking..and it wasn't handle professionally..cause everyone in need of their job..I could've gotten a written warning!!!and therefore..#Notfair
