    Mother in law has been in Life care for about 7 months and she is getting good care. The staff has treated her with kindness and has been very nice to us each time we have visited. She seems happy and is always clean. The facility needs a lot of work .

    I have had several family members in life care my self and they have always recieved very good care with the staff on hand. If I needed information the staff was helpful and instructed me on the proper ways to get the information I needed. Even if the facility was short staffed they tried to be as helpful as they could. I understand being short staffed and how stressful it can be and really wish some people understood that as well and would appreciate how hard the staff has to work to care for everyone. And I know personally that the staff at this facility comes out their own pockets to buy the residents clothes and snacks and items when their families act like they can't be bothered with them. The staff is the ones who see these residents and care for these residents every day including holidays and their birthdays. Some of the families who dump their family members at this facility and then have the nerve to show up and belittle the staff who has been their for their family member day in and day out need to be thankful to the employees who have bathed your family member, fed your family member, made their dr appt, and have seen about them, their needs, their fears and really just get over themself. This is a nursing facility, not a one on one private care home and I believe that they do have done an excellent job with all the family members I have had in there. I applaud them for working short, working 8, 12, and 16 hr shifts day in and day out and still coming back after some of these family members come in and talk to them how they do. Thank you life care center for all that you do!

    THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST NURSING HOME I HAVE EVER BEEN IN IN MY LIFE. IT IS BEYOND FILTHY AND NASTY. THEY WERE SHORT STAFF THE DAY I CAME AND ONLY HAD 2 CNA'S AND ONE NURSE ON MY DADDY HALL. WE HAS BEEN IN THE BUILDING ALMOST 3 HOURS AND NOT O E NURSE OR CNA HAD CAME TO CHECK ON MY DADDY. THEN THE NURSE HAD THE NERVE TO LIE TO ME WITH A STRAIGHT FACE WHEN I ASKED TO GET A COPY OF HIS FACESHEET TELLING ME "SHE ONLY HAD A COPY FROM 2017" WHICH I KNEW WAS A LIE. I ASKED FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR NAME AND NUMBER TO CALL MONDAY AND WAS ONLY GIVING A FIRST NAME OF KEITH AND AND EXTION NUMBER. THE NUSE THEN GOES IN A CLOSET BEHIND THE NURSE STATION AND GET ON HER CELL PHONE IMSURE TO LET SOMEONE KNOW I WAS ASKING QUESTION. I THEN ASK TO SEE THEIR HOUSE SUPERVISOR AND WAS TOLD BY THE SAME NURSE THAT THEY DONT HAVE ONE BUT HOW DONT YOU HAVE ONE WHO'S IN CHARGE WHEN THE ADMINISTRATOR NOT THEIR. THEN THE TROLL COME BACK AND SAY THE HOUSE SUPERVISOR WONT BE IN TILL 3. AND GUESS WHAT WHEN 3 GETS HERE ILL STILL BE HERE WAITING FOR ALL THE THINGS I HAVE ASKES FOR.

    This facility has staff, nurses, that show no compassion or concern for the residents or the residents families. I was treated like I was one of the residents, and at one time one of the nurses invited me to an altercation, by saying to me that I was not to be told anything about my Uncle and if I did not like it, then, come back to where she was and get some. I came to visit my Uncle, Wendell Wilson, and was unable to find someone to direct me to where he was. Most of the staff acted as if they enjoyed being rude to the visitors. Most of them acted as if they wanted to start an argument. No one would direct me to my Uncle. One of the staff that was cleaning acted like she was angry with everyone. She was exceptionally rude. This occurred on August 18, 2018 , at it around 9:30 am.n
