    I work non emergency transporting patients. I care about my patients. The nursing staff here does not. Most days you'll find the staff congregated together gossipping. And if you ask for any care for a patient they act like you're really putting them out, you know making them actually do their job. If you care about your elderly loved one do not put them here.

    PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS. If I could give ZERO stars I most certainly would do so. If you care about your loved one, but can't get there every single day, they are very negligent and try to appear caring when they're questioned. My grandmother stayed here longer than desired and was on a severe decline because they just didn't seem concerned with the resident's best interest. "Activities" appear to be them sitting in a room with minimal entertainment, no interaction with the patients they basically leave them there to deteriorate mentally! It's sad to see honestly. Clothing went missing on numerous occassions despite the name being on them. She even had on male socks one day that were obviously not for her. When eating, a lot of patients have various conditions that landed them there and require different types of aasistance. My grandmother wouldn't open her mouth upon first try at times, but if you tried again, she would begin to eat. Our family started to notice she would hold her head down, shed tears or simply not speak. After a dental visit request, turns out she had an absess and needed antibiotics. In conjunction we also realized she would drink water as if she wasn't hydrated. While I didn't want to be accusatory, I told my mother that I believed her to be dehydrated. If I'm being honest, I also said I believed that to be the case bc it alleviates the number of times she uses the bathroom hence, less work for them. She fell twice in less than a week time frame also. Minimal explanation and felt like you had to pry to find out the details. One of the times she was not secured in the wheelchair and the second time, my aunt was actually telling them that she needed to be repositioned and apparently that didn't happen as she got a call at 0300 in the morning saying she'd fallen. Fast forward to her being removed from the facility, she was obviously still on a decline. Guess from what?! NOT DEMENTIA in this case, but SEVERE DEHYDRATION! This place should've been reported to rhe state for investigation a long time ago. It's more than just a paycheck when working with the elderly or rehabilitating patients. You kind of have to give a damn. It's sad and scary to see this not just with my grandmother, but anyone's loved one.

    Improvements and smiles. A place where my Dad can call home. Nothing but graditutde for the good people at Roberta Healthcare! If we would focus on encouraging more, we wouldn't find time to complain.
