Working in the health care profession for years, I visit many skilled nursing rehabilitation centers. In my experience, the team at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center is one of the most caring and knowledgeable I have encountered. I highly recommend this team to care for your loved one.

I was very pleased with the care and services that my mother received at Abercorn Rehab Center. The nursing staff was very attentive, competent, and informative. The building was spotless, and the food was great. Best of all, the therapy department had my mother up and walking again soon after her surgery. She's now back home and doing better than she was before she was hospitalized. I can't thank the team at Abercorn Rehab enough for all they did for us!

I was trying to get home care for a friend of mine who was on Medicaid. No one would take him because they wouldn't take Medicaid. Kindred did, they are the only one I could find who did. Beyond that their care to him went above and beyond the call of duty. I can highly recommend this group of dedicated nurses for home care.

I am surprised they are still in operation. I will not recommend to put your loved one there at all, not even for a day. Sorry....too painful still to talk about it. This memorial day,.... I will, my family and his friends will salute him, in spirit, , in memory ,in honour, of all he has done for the army, and in love, of all the kindness and love he gave to everyone. :{

Compare The Number of Problems
Types of Problems at Nursing Homes
Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.
Residents Affected | |||
Severity of the Deficiency | Few | Some | Many |
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety | J | K | L |
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy | G | H | I |
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy | D | E | F |
