I would not hesitate to recommend Westhaven to my family or friends. This home has a sturdy foundation of Christian values that brings a tangible sense of peace when you walk through the door. Excellent staff who care for the residents and the facility, which is modern and well maintained.

Thankful to work for a facility that cares about their Suncrest Hospice company that comes in to care for their patients! We feel the love and appreciation from this facility!!! We look forward to continuing services with this amazing place!!

Very disappointed that someone removed one of our reviews on this facility. We will continue posting if these are removed. To the public:If you would like your loved one treated with autonomy, respect, and dignity, do not have them live here. The staff needs further education and a lesson on compassion / empathy towards their residents and the resident's loved ones.

Feeling unhappy with their behavior. My daughter called for her Grandmother and was told there were vacancies. I then contacted one of the ladies to bring over the Admissions Application and was told the person who takes care of this is out but they would call me back. I called again that afternoon and they said, "We will get together and discuss this and call you within a half an hour". She called about 1/2 hour later and said they couldn't help my Mother. I asked what had changed since last week and she said they now had no vacancies. Hmm? You had to get together and discuss that before telling me? Seems a bit suspicious.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
