    My grandfather sustained a serious injury requiring hospitalization and surgery at this facility while receiving skilled care. Lack of communication also led to delayed care for a different issue. While the staff are kind, the competence and protocols to prevent falls are lacking. I recommend looking at other facilities if your loved one will need more than assisted living care.

    This place has denied siblings to see their own mother, as well as friends, and relatives based on the direction of a delusional sibling. This was done with no legal action such as a restraining order. Do not consider this facility.

    The staff is kind but very driven by protocol. They have a hard time seeing simple solutions to problems because it is not what they were told to do. And communication among the staff is lacking. For example they may come and remove the breakfast tray because it's time to do that, but breakfast has not yet been served. I don't have anything else to compare it with though so maybe that's how all these type of places are. Rooms, facilities and activities are very nice though and the place has always been kept clean and in good order.
