    I have had a loved one there for a couple of years. The staff is great and they are very caring. They ensure safety at all times. They are very helpful and caring.

    I worked here for about two years and the care the patients recieve is horrible! I can recall a time that the gate to a ramp was left open and a woman in a wheelchair fell down and out of her chair, down the ramp! so me as a dietary aide went and got a head nurse and she preceded to tell me I had to go get the nurse downstairs, as she typed away on her computer. Many of them have sores from being left in their bed or wheel chairs for too long, many who are not all there are just left in the dining halls for hours at a time. they leave them sitting in their own piss, and some of them even miss their chance to eat because the Staff fails to actually pay attention to their residents who are there for meal time. I also recall a time a CNA ate off of a residents plate!! I called and reported this to the abuse holiness for des moines but nothing happened. Other times they are left alone and they started choking really bad and no one would come help or those who needed assistance didnt recieve it. overall just a really bad place to work and especially to live. if you care about your loved ones do not let them live here.

    This place is full of disgusting, ignorant employees who have no idea what they are doing. I can't imagine leaving a loved one in their care. PATHETIC.
