    What they do for residents is amazing! Hands down the best place to retire or if you are in need of rehabilitation! However being employed there is different story. I was employed at Edgewater for over a year. The residents became family to me. However Management was unprofessional and very rude with their employees. I was cussed at numerous times by my manager. People feared her and would not approach her. Not ideal since she is the office manager. She would leave numerous times early for a "migraine" however proceeded to tell me earlier that she was hung over......... You can't talk to HR because she tells everyone's business as soon as they leave her office. Upon my departure there (left without 2 week notice due to harassment) I tried numerous time to talk to the regional manager however she kept referring me to the HR rep after I already told her I don't want to talk to her since she cannot keep ANYTHING confidential. My name is still in my managers mouth I a negative way. I was a stellar employee, my reviews prove that. It is sad to see such a wonderful place have a dark and negative cast to it as an employee. So if you are looking for a job; I would not recommend it, however if you are in need of a retirement place or rehab I highly recommend it! PS : not disgruntled. These are facts. Still have texts from my manager cussing me out ?

    Terrible management. Company treats staff as completely expendible, so it's common to hear supervisors and HR reply "you can always take your services elsewhere" in response to concerns or issues. Don't be deceived by the appearance of grandeur, all the money went into building the facility. It's now all about how Edgewater can cut costs anyway imaginable to profit. Toxic work environment for those dedicated to patient care and needs. Management find ways around the law to retaliate against anyone not part of their cliche and I've seen it happen first hand several times.
