    One day about six years ago, I first came into Mountain Valley to visit my sister and a sick friend. I saw how clean and well kept the inside of the building was. I was quite amazed at how helpful and friendly the staff were to everyone, including visitors and residents. Shortly after, the administrator Maryruth Butler asked me to move in here (because she knew about my medical history). I jumped at the chance and am still here today. The staff is still so kind and friendly to me. The therapy department is so helpful as well. I really enjoy all the activities and exercises they have set me up to do everyday. The kitchen staff works so hard at preparing great flavorful food. I wanted to help in the facility wherever I could, so I now assist with table settings for lunch, as well as calling evening Bingo to also help the wonderful Activity Department. I am enjoying myself by helping others. I feel that I have accomplished something when I can make someone smile from ear to ear when they get a Bingo. As a result, I am very lucky and happy that that Maryruth Butler asked me to move in here, and I sure am glad I did!
