    My sister is there for rehab. She may be somewhat confused but she is definitely aware of what is going on around her. She can hear your conversations in the hall so be careful what you say. She tells us about it. Also one therapist is treating her like she is an imbicile. Let me say that she has been through hip replacement therapy and she knows the basics so please listen when she tells you she already knows how to do certain things. I know what your facility has gone through and the trouble you have been and I have not mentioned it to her or her husband. They have enough to worry about. Just remember that she is more aware than you seem to think and she tells me everything so please try a little kindness.

    My grandparents were sent here in Nov of 2016, not one week after being here my grandfather caught pneumonia and they left him to die alone and we were not notified of his being near death until he had passed. My grandmother had a bruise on her entire forearm and a black eye no one could explain... my grandmother was in the end stages of Alzheimer's, they left her most of the day in a chair by herself staring either at a wall or at the nurses station...not to mention the 55" flat screen they had went missing and no one could tell us where it went.
