Very nice facility but if you are African American I would suggest that you not work at this place I worked there for 9 months back in 2009 it was really messed up how racist it was residents ,family members, employees and management have never experienced anything like that before and hopefully never again

The Christian Village is a wonderful place to work! The staff truly care about the residents and the environment they live in. The chaplain services provide that extra-added attention! What a great community The Christian Village is!

Our family member's room is filthy. Cookies we bought over 3 weeks ago found half eaten under the night stand, corners of floor and under furniture are caked with dirt/grime, floor vents sticky, bathroom sink drains VERY slow, sheets on bed dirty with crumbs and looks like urine stains. This is just several of the MANY concerns we have with the lack of cleanliness in this place. We arrived to visit our family member as family member was leaving dining room after breakfast and stayed until lunch began. No one came to check or offer to transfer to chair or even toilet them.

Fines, Complaints, and Inspection Problems in the Past 3 Years
Compare The Number of Problems
Types of Problems at Nursing Homes
Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.
Residents Affected | |||
Severity of the Deficiency | Few | Some | Many |
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety | J | K | L |
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy | G | H | I |
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy | D | E | F |
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm | A | B | C |
