My father was at ManorCare for ten months and we are so grateful for the wonderful care he received. The staff is absolutely the best!!! Everyone (from billing to the nurses to the shower guy to the room cleaners to the managers), have all been top notch. We moved my dad to a memory care facility and my dad and his two nurses were crying because they had formed such a connection. The staff truly cares for its patients and families. We were very impressed!

This place is horrible I am disgusted on how they treat people. My mother wasn't bathed for a week. Only after begging for someone to wash her hair was it done... 32 hours later. Calls don't get answered for over 30 min. She has been wearing depends just in case thankfully ... and has soiled them due to the lack of care from aids. Was told by an aid... I can't deal with you right now. Then after reporting that the same aid the next night said it was to hard to get my mom onto a toilet and tossed her a bed pan... I am furious and ask please don't take anyone anyone you love here...

My father was at Manor Care in Naperville January 2017 through March 2017. No matter what time I arrived I was always greeted with a "hello" and a smile. The facility was always well kept. The doctors, nurses, PT/OT and activities coordinator were wonderful with him. They were motivating and kind. The social activities were plentiful and enjoyable. My father recovered in the time frame we were given. Thank you to all of the staff for taking such awesome care of my father. His children & grandchildren were all there frequently through his 2 month stay. All of us were pleased with his care. I would highly recommend Manor Care of Naperville .

Manorcare was understaffed. Patients needs were not met on a timely manner. Dietary needs were not met. (Diabetic, heart.) Personal belongings were missing from room. If you chose to place your loved one here, you need to be present.

My Grandfather was at ManorCare for short-term rehab and the staff was great with him. The nurses were so kind and caring to Grandpa, and had great communication with Mom, Dad, and me. Thank you so much for TRULY caring!

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
