    I'm only giving 3 stars because the only helpful staff are the girls in the physical therapy room.. they are wonderful.. and some of the housekeepers are friendly. Most of the aides are rude and useless.. my mother has been there 3 weeks. I go in there crying to see my mother totally naked, and all wet from urine from the night shift. Every day I have to go in to check if she's being neglected. I've even had to make my mother's bed and change my mother because the staff ingores her call light completely.. she's had a couple of nice nurses... But all I ask is to not ignore a call light that's been on for hours.. and I believe my mother is only getting changed once day... Her food I always COLD.. my my Mom eats because she's hungry.. I would like to see improvement .

    I find this facility very misleading about the pledge to fulfill the basic needs of patients. I have tried complaining to the nurse administrator and the facility administrator about significant problems with the care this facility provides. I was surprised by the lack of concern by the top two administrators of this facility. The nurse administrator literally was texting on her phone and looking at her transcript from U of I while I am in her office voicing my concerns. Not once, did she make eye contact or even participate in my conversation to the point I just got up and walked out. The Administrator, while talking to him, told me he had a meeting to attend and must cut our meeting short but will follow up with me. I have called the corporate compliance number twice and still have not received a follow up call. This place does not provide the basic ADL to patients (brushing teeth, cleaning up if they soil their clothes(must wait till the CNA make rounds), nor assist with feeding patients that have difficulty feeding themselves). I have seen patients including my father soiled in clothes. The food is beyond below standards. I have asked why are they serving hard bread sandwiches to patients with weak or no teeth. The nurse responded that is what the patient picked. I responded how can a person with Dementia understand they are not able to eat bread. Therefore, my father did not eat for the day. This is the worse Administrative Leadership I have ever seen and now understand why the rest of the staff are the way they are.

    This place is horrible. My grandmother was there for one week before we transferred her. She was recovering from two massive strokes and did not receive the care or attention she needed and was promised. Our family was there everyday and witnessed the type of care this facility provided not only to my grandmother, but to the other residents. They're ALWAYS understaffed and the place smells so bad. This place needs a serious re-vamping of administration/staff and care equipment. The beds have no rails and are almost all broken. The staff argues loudly and openly in the hallway. Care providers are super unprofessional and rude The place is nothing like they advertise and my heart aches for the people living there long term.
