    My father was there and I have to say the nursing staff was incredibly kind. Amazing overworked people and I'm sure underpaid. It is a great place for residents that have little or no issues other than just being elderly. My father on the other hand suffers from dementia. It was decided to elevate him to the lowest level which I'm sure after observing the care he would have received he never would of survived it. My sister who took on the brunt of dealing with it because she lives locally went through quite a lot trying to secure the best care for him. The funny thing was the nurses that were caring for him were as confused as we were as to why this was happening. In my opinion it was a matter of this facility looking at his income and trying to free up a room for the next patient. I'm happy to report that fortunately we had the finances to move him to a place that he is thriving at. Understanding, sadly that isn't the case for most people. My opinion on Fairhaven is they should listen more to the staff who actually are hands on with their residents and their families. As much as I understand it's a business it's so important to connect with the backbone of your business to continue to be successful. In my experience with my father it was all about money.

    I was in there for the first time tonight very very nice clean the staff is very friendly it's huge that is such a big place and it smells clean
