    If I could I would give this place NO STARS, dirty, short staff OR they just don't do their jobs! As for the nurses (the very few they did have) all looked rude and from what I saw in their "lunch room" didn't care about the people! Completely disgusted with this place.

    Rockford-Do not send a loved one here. They should be shut down. Not clean, staff does not do their jobs. Staff argues loudly in halls about not doing things because it's not their job. No checking of names etc, when dispensing meds. They do not check on their patients. The only response we got from staff was when we started packing things up to take her out of this horrid place. We were here strictly for rehab after surgery. Pray for those stuck here.

    Tried to get my mother in here. Spoke to the accountant there one night because he was the only staff member left for the day. He was very nice showed me around and said they may have a one bed left call back and speek to the admittance person. So I did and she was great but was leaving for another job passed me on to her counter part. Here is where it went bad. The person taking her place was not new just rude and incompetent. She had us send over our docs from the other nursing home and said they had a bed and there should be no problem. Made several more calls over the period of a few weeks and the story went back and forth. Yes ,no yes,no tomorrow, next week and than NO we no longer have any beds don't call us we will call you. So I understand how the number thing works and the cost verses income for care but they told us she was good. Expenses were low enough per the first woman who left and with the second woman that seemed not to have it together at the end. I was very disappointed as it is my mother stood where she was at about a mile up the road. The nursing home she is at seems to have picked it up a bit after finding she wanted to leave. So it worked out for us but still unhappy with day and days of wasted time here. One thing to keep in mind is everyone seems to have a different experience at every nursing home. The point is they all suck to your loved one who has to stay there as apposed to being home. Please do your do diligence when it comes to picking one. There are better and worse ones out there. This one looks good and most of the staff was friendly. Maybe I just came at a bad time. Best of luck.
