The most unprofessional staff I have ever worked with. The allowed scabies patients to walk around and infect others, they do not clean up after the residents, they treat the residents with such disrespect when family members are not there, I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS NASTY PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES!!!!!!!!!

My brother received outstanding care by staff that truly cared about him and knew him. From the housekeepers to the head of nursing, they clearly knew, had interaction with, and excepted him despite his disagreeable moments. Unfortunately, he lost his battle - throughout his stay, more so the finial week, and extensively the day he passed, the nursing staff was there for me and my family, carefully explaining what to expect and answering questions - far more personal and caring than the hospice organization. Thank you Tina and the entire staff (family). The small town feel, the personal attention, and the residents made this part of life more bearable.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
