    First, their nursing staff and PT are excellent, but the post care we received has been so astronomically awful that I now wish I could give them negative stars. When it came time for my mothers discharge, instead of having them reach out, I (at the POA and advocate) had to reach out a number of times and literally force a meeting with the social worker. She made a number of promises for both services and equipment (including a bed, which should have been arranged BEFORE she came home) Three weeks have now passed since her discharge and nothing has advanced, despite calls and messages to both management and the social worker. I have had to refer the heavily needed items to our PCP (which was set up a couple of days later) and I am still trying to get my mother a bed, which she desperately needs (all I have gotten is excuses from the staff and management at Edgewater). I will be going to the PCP for that as well. Calling the line they leave on all the feedback is completely useless. I was on the phone with them for over 20 minutes and barely got past the facility and address- the person taking the info was that slow and rude. So in summary. care is good, but pray that you don't need anything done by management for aftercare, or it will be a nightmare.
