There are so many great things about this place I don't even know where to begin. Staff, updated facilities, a fitness center, this list just goes on. I love how they have been posting more and showing us how special of a place it is and how amazing the residents are. Did I mention the food? The artists? The library...

We have been throughly impressed with the staff here. Both my mother and mother-in-law, are residents. There is a wide range of activities that they can participate in. The dining room is newly remodeled, the service is excellent and the food outstanding! We were also impressed with the beauty shop and bank right in the facility! The in house Pt has also been extremely helpful, enabling our parents to get the necessary help they need. We would highly recommend Greenwood Village South to our friends and family!

My Mother has been a resident for 3 years. Between me and my sisters we are there almost daily. I would not want my Mother anywhere else. Great staff from the CNA's, nurses and office staff. The financial director has always been helpful. Great food menu, and I have become close to many of the residents there.

Lisa D. (F&B Director) should be ashamed of herself and her discrimination against other ethnicities.

Compare The Number of Problems

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes

Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.

  Residents Affected
Severity of the Deficiency Few Some Many
Immediate jeopardy to resident health or safety J K L
Actual harm that is not immediate jeopardy G H I
No actual harm with potential for more than minimal harm that is not immediate jeopardy D E F
No actual harm with potential for minimal harm A B C
